The two times I died, I used progressively less important trinkets to cut my losses, which could be the only explanation for the correlating difficulty of each shrieker mission. (and the one time I need the stagecoach to give me level 1 heroes it gives 5 LVL 3'S!!!)ĮDIT 2: I am almost certain that the level of the shrieker depends on the rarity of the trinkets that are lost. Darkest dungeon never fails to surprise me. (not complaining, just stating facts)ĮDIT: So, yeah, I really wanted to kill that shrieker, so I genocided all of my unwanted lvl 5 highwaymen thinking I would be able to fight a level 5 shrieker, when in fact I got a level one shrieker. The result, to my dismay, was a level 3 shrieker, when I was hoping for a champion level. In the latter case, you really have no room to Complain, because if you're FARMING for an Achievment, you should look up a guide instead of going in blind.I wanted to "summon" the shrieker, so I sacrificed 4 level 2 heroes on a Veteran level mission. You can't run from it because there's no rooms to run to.Īlso the shrieker is PURELY optional, and only pulls Trinkets from your Dead Soldiers, meaning it's likely not even going to be that important to you unless you REALLY want the trinkets you likely already have or are farming for the Achievment. Yeah, the bird is a one-tile Dungeon bossfight in the Weald. The level 6 dungeon at least has you sacrafice a hero and spares the rest. Literally any boss in the game is easier than the final boss. That's literally any Lvl 6 dungeon but ok. The point of the boss is to get your Trinkets, not kill it. Has terrain that you'd kill if you even attempted to do the mission of the Goal (retrieving your lost trinkets) Originally posted by Xerkie:Literally any party with high ACC.
